Today is September 1st, 2010... six months since that day. In case you aren't familiar with what I am talking about, well then... keep reading. On March 1st, 2010, I received a call that I never expected to receive. It was Yan, Ian's sister. We, his first family and our second family, lost our brother and our hero, who was fighting for our freedom over in Afghanistan. Anyways, let me keep this post more positive, as he would want it that way. Here's a little background... to date, Ian Gelig is one of my friends who I've known the longest. It started in 6th grade when we both moved to this city. It wasn't long before we became each other's first friend. Considering that I am 27, it would only mean that I have known him for more than half my life. It was a friendship that continued to grow since that day. It's hard to believe that six months has already gone by; the call I received that day is still fresh in my mind. After work today, I decided I would pay him a visit, show my respects. Sigh... as I was sitting on the ground, leaning back against the wall, and staring at his plaque, I realized... once again... things won't ever be the same.

- Hello, name's Ajay. Guess it's time to get into this blogging scene. It helps that I got my girl with me, "Nikki" The Nikon. If I'm too lazy, I'll just take pictures with my phone. Also, the blog title actually comes from the month/day/year I was born. Cool huh? Anyways, enjoy your stay and come back again. =]
